    I try to practice breathing exercises in addition to my medication that I take for anxiety. It really can help to just take a step back and breathe properly and focus your mind on the right things. I hope this post helps someone out there! :)

    This definitely helps me. Calm.com is a great (free!) app that helps with guided meditation. I find that if I adjust my breathing, my anxiety significantly decreases!

    Music really helps me when I deal with bouts of anxiety. I have a few songs that are go-tos to just calm me down and ground me. I’ll have to try this out, too!

    I’m studying to take the registered nurse boards next month and my anxiety has been through the roof. Thanks for posting this and giving me a way to calm the hell down. lol

    I find breathing exercises like this so worthwhile and I always feel so much better afterwards. I just need to make them a habit..!
