A Tour of Our Nashville Airbnb

As you’ve probably seen all over my Instagram, I stayed in a gorgeous little Airbnb in Nashville a couple weeks ago. I discovered it on Instagram, like everything else, and it was even better in person. The McCarn Airbnb is a quaint, well-decorated house in the trendy neighborhood of East Nashville. Our host, Kaitlin, styled it perfectly, mixing antique pieces with modern trends. The result is a cozy home with lots of natural textures and unique details.

I think the dining room was my favorite space in the house. That gorgeous rug (which I found here and here!), the rustic wooden table, and antique accents all just work so perfectly together. I also love how she left the room pretty minimal in order to keep the focus on the dining furniture.

Okay, wait, maybe the kitchen was my favorite room in the house. It’s hard to decide! But look at that original tile (I think it’s original?), the open shelving, and that exposed brick wall. I love how she decided to make the floors dark and add an antique rug. My guess is she repainted the cabinets white and replaced the hardware — it looks amazing!

The raw wooden furniture, antique rugs, and quirky decor linger on throughout the home. And did I mention there’s an upstairs? Yup, room for friends! I love that they kept the old stairs in tact and kept the decor consistent on the second level. And that bathroom…I mean, it’s a Pinterest-lover’s dream!
