My Kind of 4th of July Outfit

4th of july outfit advice from a 20 something

While I’m all for dressing patriotically, red, white, and blue can quickly go cheesy. So how do you make it festive yet stylish at the same time? Go with what’s trending and don’t force all three colors into one look. Since I was looking for something trendy and affordable for my 4th of July outfit, I went straight to ASOS.

I wanted to find something off-the-shoulder because it’s just so perfect for a summer party. And since I tend to lean towards a blue & white palette, I kept my eye out for those colors. This gingham off-the-shoulder top quickly caught my eye. I loved the Spanish vibe (even though we are celebrating America), so I searched for a flirty skirt to go with it. This white midi skirt (which comes in red, green, and peach) was the perfect match. And at only $28, I couldn’t say no!

Accessories are a great way to complete that red, white, and blue theme. A pop of red shoe, a red bandana around the neck, or a red purse would be great with this look. But I decided to go for a red lip instead. Mostly because I couldn’t resist this adorable shell bag (similar here) and these sweet clogs.
