Thank you to Superga for sponsoring this post.
The best kind of trend is a comfortable trend. One that you actually want to wear because it makes your life easier. Sneakers are one of those trends that I hope never goes out of style for just that reason. They’re the shoe I want to throw on when I’m running errands, meeting a friend for coffee, or walking around the city. Styling your sneakers so you don’t look like a tourist or a gym rat is another story.
Start with a neutral pair of sneakers.
You’d think it’d be easy to find comfortable sneakers, but it wasn’t until I tried these Superga’s that I actually started wearing the trend regularly. These babies are comfortable from the very start. No breaking in needed, no blisters, just pure comfort (and style). I ordered mine from Zappos (obviously) because they have FREE 2-day shipping!
Add ripped jeans.
My favorite complement to a pair of casual sneakers is a pair of casual jeans. Distressed jeans (like these skinny jeans I’m wearing or even boyfriend jeans) create that laid back vibe that goes perfectly with your kicks. Avoid boot cut or flare jeans and stick with the ankle cropped look so you can really show off your shoes.
Opt for classic silhouettes on top.
Keep the look casual with a classic tee, a plaid or solid button-down, or even a light sweater. Opt for classic silhouettes like these to keep the look simple and effortless. If you need an extra layer, you can go the edgier route with a leather moto jacket (this one is super affordable!) or try a long cardigan.

Good to know that Spergas are comfortable! I have Converse, which obviously have a similar look, but I really don’t find them comfortable at all.
I also HIGHLY recommend Addidas Stan Smith’s. There is no arch support, but if that’s not an issue for you then they are super, super comfy. I LOVE mine.
Cute styling!

Great look! I love this outfit. I always have that issue with sneakers. I feel like I look dumpy when I wear them, but I see them on other girls and they are so cute. Thanks for the tips!

The “cutoff” aspect of these jeans really compliments the low canvas sneakers here. Great color match, too.

Hey, the outfit used in this images are looking pretty cool. Especially due that black leather jacket and ankle cropped jeans. I suppose to use sketchers sneaker but next time I will definitely try Spergas.
