You gotta love a trend you can throw on and feel good in no matter what, am I right? Well the swing dress is going to be your savior this season. Pair it with sneakers, sandals, heels, boots — pretty much any shoe in your closet will work! You can even layer your look with anything, from an embellished jacket to a blanket scarf.
Personally, I love the long-sleeve printed swing dresses (like this one!) because they’re perfect for the weather here in San Francisco (and they have that bohemian vibe I love!). This simple black strappy option is great for summer! I also just snagged this striped beauty from ASOS for just $38 and love how versatile the blank & white print is. Take a look at some more ways to wear the swing dress in today’s roundup of outfits below.

Hi Amanda!
I love these dresses! So cute! The only thing I worry about is I have a pretty curvy figure and I’m scared that a dress like that will make me lose any shape that I have–do you have any suggestions for hourglass girls like me?

Post authorTry layering a more structured piece over it like a moto jacket or denim jacket! That should help show off your shape!

Hello,
I have a medium blue and white polka dot 1950s style classic swing dress that I bought years ago to wear for a themed summer party.
I’m thinking of wearing it for a possible murder mystery event (possibly in March).
I live in the UK so it’s still going to be pretty chilly when this event happens and the information page states that it has to be formal/smart – could anyone give me any suggestions of shawls, blanket scarves, jackets, ponchos etc that would still look professional and formal, keep we warm and comfortable but also match a “sleuth” from 1970?
