5 Easy Ways to Up Your Wellness Game
posted on October 4, 2018 | by Amanda Holstein
Though I’m a huge advocate for the wellness trend, I also feel totally overwhelmed by it. I mean, where do I even begin?? From meditation to oil pulling to simply eating more veggies, it feels like the list is never-ending. So, for those of you just dipping your toe into being a bit healthier, I thought I’d start you off with a few easy ways to up your wellness game. These are things you can easily add to your daily routine, without changing your entire lifestyle in order to see some results!
1. Start with supplements.
Supplements are a super easy addition to your everyday routine. Though there are a lot to choose from, let’s just start with the basics. For us twenty-somethings, I’d go with a multi-vitamin (one with plenty of Calcium for strong bones and Vitamin D for your immune system*). Along with that, I’d add one more to the mix: omega-3. While you have heard of omega-3 in the form of fish oil pills, I’ve been using a plant-based alternative that I’m loving so much more! It’s Nature’s Way NutraVege Plant-Based Omega-3 in both soft gels and liquid form. Omega-3s are so important because they help support brain function, heart health, and vision.* I love that these specifically don’t have that fishy taste and are super easy to swallow (unlike some of those massive fish oil pills out there!).
2. Drink lemon water.
Ideally warm, lemon water is a simple and super healthy way to up your wellness game. Drinking it first thing in the morning, or at least on an empty stomach, has many benefits. Lemons are a great source of Vitamin C, potassium, calcium, magnesium and more. It’s also believed to help clean out toxins in your body and have anti-inflammatory properties. If keeping some lemons around the house can do all this, I’d say it’s worth it!
3. Add turmeric to anything you’re cooking.
You’ve probably been hearing tons of buzz around turmeric, but if you’re not into turmeric lattes, I’ve got another option for ya. Just start adding it to your spice blends whenever you’re cooking! Look, I’m not great in the kitchen, but if there’s a spice with health benefits like this, it can’t hurt to add a little to each meal, right? Turmeric is believed to have some amazing anti-inflammatory properties, help your body’s antioxidant capacity, improve brain function, and so much more. It’s another super easy way to get into the wellness game without changing your entire lifestyle.
4. Carry nuts in your purse.
Yup, that’s my wellness advice. But it’s so simple and can really make a difference! I don’t know about you, but I definitely don’t get enough protein in my diet. Protein is so important for a healthy brain, so keeping a handful of nuts in my purse at all times has become my new wellness trick. If I’m starting to feel my energy decrease or my brain is feeling foggy, I’ll snack on some almonds or cashews for a little pick-me-up.
5. End your day with green tea.
If you’re a coffee-lover, I’m not going to try and convince you to switch your morning latte for tea. Instead, why not try finishing your day with a hot cup of green tea? It’s pretty powerful stuff! It supports antioxidant pathways, and protects against free radicals.*

Our health is what we eat and our way of life. The more balanced food we choose, the more filled our body. Dietary supplements are a great way to make nutritional benefits even more effective. The main thing is to choose really high-quality manufacturers for yourself, I advise you to learn more about this here https://www.privatelabelexpress.com/

These are helpful tips, thank you for them. In fact, there are many diets or simple health solutions out there these days, including vitamins or supplements. I recently started taking supplements for liver function from the amazon website https://www.amazon.in/Prorganiq-Capsules-All-Natural-Silymarin-Supplement/dp/B09WLWJ17L which help a lot

These are good ideas. Now, for better well-being, I even began to use Omega 3 from the site https://prorganiq.com/products/omega-3-fish-oil and also a few more vitamins for every day. This should help me get the best for my body and mind.

Sometimes I feel like I sit too much during the day. I have a sedentary lifestyle, which, of course, negatively affects my general condition.

On the contrary, I’ve always had a lot of physical activity, but now I’ve broken my leg, and I have to lie down almost all the time. In order not to be bored, I decided to distract myself with the help of cs go, and also learned about the platform https://dmarket.com/csgo-skins/product-card/ak-47-elite-build for buying cs go skins at reasonable prices. Quite interesting, and helps to diversify game content.

Nutrition strategies may vary depending on individual needs and goals. It is important to consume enough fluids, fruits, vegetables, proteins, carbohydrates and healthy fats. Avoid fast food and excessive consumption of unhealthy foods such as trans fats and large amounts of sugar. But choosing the right herbal supplements https://herb-era.com/ will only be a plus for you
