Surprise! I cut my hair. I’ve been eyeing this one haircut for a while now, and it took me forever to figure out what to call it. After searching through Pinterest and any celebrity site I could find, I finally discovered the perfect name for the look I was going for: the long blunt bob. It’s a simple cut that grazes the collar bone, with blunt ends and minimal layers. This photo was what really made me take the plunge. I love the messy, undone look combined with the sleek, blunt ends. It’s a great change for summer if you currently have long hair with long layers. It’s not too drastically short, but short enough to feel fun and different. I can’t wait to start playing with all the different hairstyles for this length hair and I’ll be sure to share my trials and errors along the way!

I got that same cut last Spring, and loved it. I kept it through Summer, then began to grow it out. Now it’s long again (I’m pregnant, and it’s growing like crazy!), but I’m tempted to go with a long bob again. It’s fun and easy to style, but I loved that it was still long enough to pull up… very versatile. Yours looks gorgeous! I just love it.

Love the cut. I had kept mine longish for a wedding I was in a few weekends ago but am toying around with “the chop” at my next appointment. Would you please please please do a hair tutorial on how you styled it.
