Get Organized: Your Makeup

It’s a problem us girls face everyday. Small apartment bathroom, too much makeup. What do we do? There’s always the makeup bag, but then products just get lost and you have to dig and dig every morning only to end up with your hands covered in shimmer. I like to be able to see all the products I use at once, but with little to no counter space, that isn’t always easy.

So, my solution? This adorable wall shelf from Urban Outfitters. Using your wall space in a small apartment is a great way to gain some storage back. It doesn’t take up much room, but allows you to see all your products easily and keep them neatly organized. Here’s how I use mine:

Using pretty containers to hold smaller items like hair ties and brushes is key to a well-organized bathroom. It also adds more color and texture to the space.

Organizing by product is key. Keeping all your face products together, for example, makes it easier to find what you’re looking for in the morning, even when you’re half asleep. Always make the things you use on a daily basis easily accessible.
