With Mother’s Day just around the corner, I know some of you probably haven’t had a chance to get her a gift yet. But don’t worry, you can make something super special in just three simple steps, something perhaps more meaningful than a pair of earrings or a salad bowl you may find online (although those can be great presents too!). I find that the best gifts I’ve ever given my mom or dad include photos of the family or something homemade. So why not combine both into a DIY picture frame, complete with a photo of us kids. (Yes, that would be me with the corn rows.) So let’s get started with this 3-step DIY Mother’s Day gift.
Supplies
You can get a super cheap, modern looking wooden frame at your local art store, perfect for this kind of project. You’ll also need Scotch Blue painter’s tape, scissors, a paint brush, and whatever paint colors you choose. I stuck with a feminine vibe and created a blush color with white and red, and also used gold.
Step 1
Remove the inner parts of the frame and start by taping off random sections with the painter’s tape. I chose to cut the tape into different widths to mix up the stripes. Make sure to tape all the way across, including the sides of the frame.
Step 2
Now it’s time to paint. Choose 2-3 colors. If you want to make the same blush color I used, simply add just a tiny touch of red to a dollop of white paint. The paint usually dries darker than it looks, so you only need a touch of the red. I’m also a huge fan of this metallic gold color. It always comes out perfectly shiny with just 2 coats.
Step 3
Let the paint dry for at least an hour. Then remove the tape.
Easy, right? Now add the photo of your choice and you’re done!
What are you getting your mama for Mother’s Day?

Great. No doubt, there is a great bonding between mother and kids. A mother always understand their kids and know what make them happy. A mother always give quality time to their kids. I would share some activities which I selected for my kids are https://wunderkiddy.com/activity/spring-flower here are lots of activities and games that help to teach kids and kids also perform these activities with great interest. I would recommend to all parents.
