My goal in life is to get to a point where I rarely wear any makeup at all. Clear skin, full brows, and long lashes are all a part of that plan. Today, let’s focus on lashes.
I know sooo many friends who get lash extensions, but I refuse. Why? I don’t want to spend that much on my lashes every month, it’s too high maintenance for me, and it’s not natural. I just want to have long, beautiful lashes that will always be there. Isn’t that the dream? Well today I’m starting that journey by trying out a couple, more healthy, options.
Use Nightly: Lash Serum Made with Botanicals
I’m not just using any lash serum. I’m using a healthy option: Avon Anew Clinical Unlimited Lashes Serum made with botanicals and free of parabens & sulfates. I’m so excited to have found an option that’s safe and uses ingredients like Bearberry Extract to fortify your lashes and visibly volumize your lashes. Here’s how it works: you just apply the serum to your top lash line every night before bed. Don’t use too much, just enough so that it soaks in. Let it dry on its own and after a few weeks, we should be seeing some results! I can’t wait to give you guys an update in a few weeks so you can see the progress at the 12-week mark!
Use Daily: Mascara That Promotes Healthy Lashes
Besides my lash serum, I’m also switching to a mascara that contains ingredients meant to keep your lashes healthy! Avon True Color Love at 1st Lash True Color Mascara has Vitamins A, C, and E to condition lashes and olive oil to help strengthen them. It’s also paraben and sulfate-free as well! I’ve never had a mascara that kept in mind the health of your lashes, so I’m super excited to bring this one into my routine! Plus, it has the type of brush that I love. It doesn’t get all clogged up with product and has both short & long bristles so it really gets every single lash. I love it!!
I can’t wait to follow up with you guys on my lash progress in a few weeks! What else would you want to see in my follow up post that might help??

I have lash extensions and although convenient they do take quite a bit of maintaining! When they get thinned out they are not my favourite look and they are expensive! I decided to stop getting them once school starts back up so this post is super helpful for when I want to grow mine out!! Great post and blog xx

Hi! I can’t wait to see the progress. I have – luckily – always had a very long and voluminous lash without any help but lately I started to look into ways of keeping them that way. Mostly, I would love to find a mascara that does a great job but also doesn’t ruin my lashes. Many products, unfortunately, prove difficult to take off! So I can’t wait to hear about your progress because I might be interested in those products too. Good luck!
