No, I’m not pregnant, I just really love this dress. Do I want to be comfortable? Yes. Do I care if it kind of borders on pajamas? Nope, not at all. The oversized maxi dress has quickly become my favorite thing in my closet. Not only is it ridiculously comfortable, but it’s got the effortless, laid back vibe that I just love. Plus, it’s really versatile! You can tie it in a knot as I have in this look, leave it loose, or even add a belt. The low cut neckline helps show a little skin so you don’t look too covered up. The buttons add some unique detail and the fabric is oh so soft.
Have I convinced you? Well take a look at how I styled it for a day exploring Nashville and let me know what you think. I added some trendy fringe shoes to make the outfit a little more put together (these ankle boots would work as well). I can’t get enough of this leather strand necklace. It adds that perfect bohemian touch. The bag (similar here) and hat help complete the look. So, what do you think? Do I look like a pregnant lady who just rolled out of bed? Or do we like it?

This looks so comfy! Love that you tied the knot at the bottom :)
I am so guilty of wearing borderline maternity clothes. Recently, I posted a pic with a pregnant friend saying “can’t wait to meet him.” I was wearing an over-sized sweater, and I’m pretty sure many people assumed I was the pregnant one. Awesome! ha.

Did you get the teal color? I have been eyeing this dress for ages but can’t seem to pull the trigger. I am someone who definitely sticks to neutrals – but if this is what the teal looks like I think I would be sold.

I’m a huge fan of dresses with open backs, as well as incorporating lace into a wedding dress. Thank you for sharing the inspiration!
