Gift Guide: For Your Guy

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but it’s time for our first Gift Guide of the season! Personally, I find guys the most difficult to shop for, so I thought I’d get your wheels turning on what to get the men in your life first.

There are basically three categories of gifts for him: clothes, grooming products, and tech. (Of course, that leaves out things like activities, but let’s just focus on the tangible stuff for now). When it comes to clothes, my boyfriend is a bit of a shoe addict, so it’s always a win-win if I pick out the right pair. You can’t go wrong with sweaters or plaid shirts either.

When it comes to grooming, there are so many options out there for men right now. From beard upkeep to skin care, there are tons to choose from. This year, I took a look at Ulta’s Gift Guide for the Well Groomed Guy for some ideas and found some great, affordable options. I went for the Billy Jealousy Beard Envy Kit, which includes their Beard Wash and Beard Control for styling. I like the idea of the Jack Black Travel Essentials Kit as well, since most guys don’t take the time to put their products in mini bottles for the plane!

As for tech, there are so many fun gadgets that would be great for your guy, but it totally depends on what he’s into. You could go bold with an Apple Watch, or opt for something stylish and functional for his room: a classic Marshall Speaker he can hook up to his iPhone.
