As you may have seen on Instagram, I’m pretty sure this hat is now officially the coolest thing I own. Admittedly, I would have been too shy to buy it a few years ago. But this time I was with my sister, who is the queen of adventurous style, and she convinced me to go for it. The trick to pulling off something you’re unsure of? Step one: wear it. Step two: own it. I may have gotten some looks walking to soho to shoot with Christine, but hey, who cares what other people think (or so I’m trying to learn). Add this insane necklace to a simple all black outfit, and you’ve got yourself a boho look that perfectly combines east coast & west coast style.
