Is it just me or do I seem to be getting more and more boho by the day. Maybe I’m going through a phase or maybe I’ve found my true style, but either way, the hippie thing is really resonating with me at the moment. Perhaps the past year I’ve lived in NY has triggered my California side to overcompensate! Either way, these Brandy Melville hippie pants and I have nothing to complain about.
So, now you must be wondering, how do I actually incorporate this trend into my daily life? Great question. A statement pant like these is great for nights out with friends. If you feel they are too bold for you to wear during the day, make them your go-to for bold night-time looks. Pair them with a simple, neutral top that isn’t too distracting. I kept the hippie thing going with this adorable Free People crop top, but you could also just wear a simple tank or tee shirt tucked in. As for your shoes, go for casual leather sandals. If the pants are a bit too long, make sure to wear a slight heel so they fall just right. Add some boho jewelry (I love how my Daniel Wellington watch goes with any style), and you’re good to go!

Love! Every time I wear hippie pants I feel like I’m in PJ’s and then I lose pretty much all motivation to be even remotely productive but I absolutely love this look on you!

I WISH I looked like you in hippie pants! Seriously I would wear them everyday. But every time I try I just look silly… Maybe I’m doing it wrong?
