When it comes to fall fashion, I think I get most excited about mixing textures. Mixing smooth & edgy leather with soft & intricate knits creates a unique contrast that I can’t seem to get enough of. Plus, the trend can be worn in so many ways and always creates a luxe vibe. Try pairing a rich leather skirt with a textured sweater, or sleek leather pants with an oversized cardigan. Adding knits to your leather pieces dresses down the look a bit, making it just a bit more laid back. It works the other way too: adding a leather piece to your knits dresses up the look and makes it more luxe.
I took my leather skirt and textured knit to 20th Century Cafe, an adorable little spot in Hayes Valley, with my NEW photographer Andrea Posadas! Isn’t she fantastic? We ordered lattes and a few sweet treats, and enjoyed a morning of marble countertops and perfect lighting — my kind of Tuesday :). Take a look at the full outfit below and let me know your thoughts on the photos!

That would be so much fun to see! I thought the eyeshadow was great with that outfit. I love the subtler colors that really coordinate with the outfit but are still closer to a natural and polished look.
