There tend to be certain trends that come around every fall. Plaid, chunky knits, trench coats, riding boots…to name a few. But every once in a while there are some new classics that make there way into your fall outfit rotation, and this year, there are a number of them I’m hoping will stay around for a while. Edgy seems to be the name of the game this season, and I won’t lie, I’m a happy camper. Getting to add a touch of punk to your look while still looking feminine? Now that’s my kind of fall outfit. Take a look at these new edgy classics taking over the fall scene.
You’ve probably noticed an influx of the ripped black skinny jean. I love this new edgier denim that’s now being worn in a classic way. And have you ever seen a faux leather trench? The perfect combo of two fall must-haves, the leather trench adds that classic edge to any look. This ASOS trench actually comes with a removable faux fur collar, perfect for switching your look for nighttime! Add some always reliable stripes, a hardcore pair of moto boots, and top it off with a slouchy beanie.

Love love LOVE this look! I’ve been looking for some ways to upgrade my fall wardrobe from last year’s aztec cardigan/beanie combo. That leather trench is everything!

I just got myself the perfect version of a striped shirt and am getting a beanie hand knitted for me. I love the idea of the leather trench and think you pull it off beautifully. Personally, I am looking for the perfect black leather biker jacket and just got myself a gorgeous above the knee wool and cashmere coat in black that works night and day. You really rock this entire look!

I have yet to see a leather trench-tres chic! I’m definitely with you when it comes to wearing a edgy-feminine outfit. They are my personal favorite.

BTW, how do you like those boots? The review online is very bad (i.e. glue showing, stiff, marks) so Im hesitant to order them.

Post authorI love them so far! They were a bit stiff at first so need to break them in but they aren’t falling apart at all. I also recommend getting a protectant spray for leathers – that definitely helps!
