I’ve never really been one to where a statement anything. Statement necklaces were always a little much for me, as were statement earrings and statement pants. But there’s something about a statement jacket that fits my laid back style perfectly. I can throw it over my typical jeans and a t-shirt uniform and look put together without feeling overdressed. For this in between weather we get in San Francisco, this Anthropologie jacket is the perfect layer. I paired mine with some vintage Levi’s (similar here), these fun tassel mules , and a gold choker for an edgier look.

For warmer days, you can pair your statement jacket with a simple dress. Add denim and booties as the weather gets chillier. And for this freezing cold winter, you could even layer your statement jacket over a fitted sweater or turtleneck. It’s even thin enough to throw your winter coat over.
