Striped Swing Dress

Lately I’ve been surprising myself when it comes to picking out my outfit each morning. Typically, I go straight for my most comfortable pair of jeans and a soft tee or loose blouse. But recently, I just want to be “one and done” — you know, throw on one item of clothing and be magically ready to go. That’s why dresses are quickly becoming my go-to.

Since I wouldn’t say I’m much of a girly girl, I can be very picky about my dresses. I don’t want anything too feminine or too loud, and I also need to keep in mind how windy it can be here in San Francisco, so length is important as well. This thick, almost structured swing dress has been my perfect everyday dress. Its long sleeves are great for the changing temperatures, the stripes keep that casual vibe I like, and the thick fabric prevents it from blowing away in the wind. Plus, it’s under $50! This tote hasn’t left my side much recently either :).
