An easy one to mess up, the monochromatic trend is what I like to call a fun little challenge. You can’t just take some yellow jeans and a yellow t-shirt and call it a day. You’ll look like a banana. There’s an art to this trend, but it’s really not as difficult as it seems! Just stick to these rules: choose neutrals, mix textures, and add a pop of color with your accessories. And if you get stuck, it’s always best to opt for classic shapes.

I love the look of monochromatic, but I always find the pieces that you do it with are really important when wearing head-to-toe of one color. I love the gray, and I’ve seen it a lot with burgundy lately, too!

I’ve never tried the monochromatic trend, but now I want to! I think grey is a great color to try it out with!

Totally agree on the tip about the mixing textures. It works well when wearing pieces of a similar color tone but not the same shade too!
