Your Turn: How Do You Deal with Mean Girls?
posted on August 22, 2014 | by Amanda Holstein
Whether you’re in high school, your twenties, or beyond, you’re bound to encounter what I like to call a “mean girl”. You know who I’m talking about: the girl who thinks she can do no wrong, who knows how to manipulate to get what she wants, and puts herself before anyone else. It’s unfortunate that these creatures exist even after your teenage years, but let’s face it, we’ve all met them.
So how do you deal with these people? Have you ever been friends with one and then later realized she was a mean girl? Do you confront her in a mature way or do you just ignore her (knowing any conversation with her is like talking to crazy)? Have you ever had to deal with one at work?
Tell me your experience with mean girls and how you’ve dealt with them. I’d love to know!
