When it comes to picking out an outfit, I’m always reaching for the staples in my closet. You’ll find me in jeans and a t-shirt more often than not. So when the seasons change, I like to switch up my wardrobe and incorporate some fall staples. This fall season, I’ve got a few on my list. First up, raw hem denim. Yes, the distressed denim trend is taking it one step further with raw hems and I love it. Try it with classic skinny jeans or cropped flares for an edgy look.
On top, I’m loving loose knits with slim sleeves. And turtlenecks! Lots and lots of turtlenecks. This one in particular is a favorite of mine. I love the zipper detail on the back, and it comes in more great fall colors. I’m also excited for a comfy pair of fall shoes that I can wear everyday — these chelsea boots by Clarks! I ordered them from Zappos (as always — love their two-day FREE shipping!) and have not stopped wearing them. They go with everything in my closet and they’re incredibly comfortable, the perfect piece to round out my fall staples.

Post authorI would say they’re slightly in between! They look light in my photos because it was so light in that room, but they aren’t as dark as the image on Zappos either.

I have these shoes. They really are super comfortable! I would recommend to everyone. Not waterproof But you can buy waterproofing spray and it’s okay. Worth the cash for the comfort and quality. Love love love these booties.
