Denim is a fabric you can wear any time of year. Shorts, dresses, chambray shirts, and the endless amount of pant silhouettes make the classic trend an obvious choice. One silhouette I’m particularly drawn towards this season is the high-rise straight-leg jean. The relaxed fit make them a great alternative to the boyfriend jean. Plus, they have that vintage feel to them, perfect for adding some edge to your look. Obviously, I love this crisp white option (on sale!), but the distressed denim look is great too.
I wore these babies around Nashville with a chambray top and espadrille slides. While exploring, we came across this adorable mobile flower shop, Amelia’s Flower Truck, that hops around the city to different locations. After that we explored 12 South and enjoyed some seriously yummy popsicles at Las Paletas! Because it was still so hot in Nashville, this look was perfect for staying cool but still felt fall appropriate. My sunnies helped as well! Take a look at the rest of the outfit below!
