It seems like every twenty-something has a classic trench coat these days. After I realized I liked my job and felt like I was a real, working member of society, my first act was to buy a “grown-up” trench coat. So, of course, I headed to Banana Republic. Soon after my purchase I started spotting the exact same trench coat, striped lining and all, on literally every twenty-something girl in the city. What. The. Hell. I’m all for a classic, timeless item, but when I start blending in and looking like every other girl my age, it becomes a problem. I decided something had to change. My solution? Studs.
What do you think of my DIY studded trench coat?
