On my trip to Napa a few weeks ago, the best meal I had was by far at the beautiful Farmstead restaurant at Long Meadow Ranch in St. Helena. Farmstead sits on a gorgeous property in the heart of Napa Valley, surrounded by their very own vineyards and organic fruit & vegetable gardens. Even the outdoor seating is fenced in by apple orchards — absolutely gorgeous! I love the warm and welcoming vibe of the restaurant with its outdoor fire pits and cozy seating made for great conversation.
The restaurant is set in an old nursery barn and I love how the decor maintains the integrity of its heritage while combining modern design. I can’t get over those high ceilings, leather booths, and wooden tables. Besides the decor, the restaurant has an incredible farm-to-table menu. We started our meal with the charcuterie board and warm burrata, of course. Both were amazing! Next we enjoyed an incredibly creamy gnocchi dish and a fresh trout. But what I will never be able to forget is the refreshing stone fruit sorbet we devoured in seconds at the end of our meal. It was the perfect way to finish the night! Check out their full dinner menu here and be sure to visit next time you’re in Napa!
