How to Wear Your Hunter Boots When It’s Not Raining

There is something so fall about Hunter boots that I find myself wanting to break them out the second the temperatures drop. And with the draught here in California, I don’t have the patience to wait for a rainy day. But who says Hunter boots have to be worn in the rain? So today I’ve teamed up with Hunter & Zappos to show you how to wear these fall staples on any occasion.

As a west coast dweller, I’m a regular at the beach all year round, even in the colder months. A recent trip to Crissy Beach with Auggie on a chilly day was the perfect occasion to break out my Hunter boots for the first time this season. Anytime you’re headed to a more rustic location, your Hunter boots are the perfect accessory. Think apple picking, pumpkin patches, or even picnics in the park. For the beach, I paired my boots with a simple dress and slouchy cardigan (they arrived from Zappos in 2 days with free shipping!). To add more layers, I threw on some long socks and brunched them at the top of the boot — this is also a great way to make the look a little more flirty! Auggie wore his usual gingham collar and leather leash ;).
