Although I’ve lived in New York for 6 months now (wow, time flies), I still am not completely satisfied with my bedroom. It’s super duper small, I’m talking barely-fits-a-full-size-bed small, but I just know it could make a really cozy little space once I actually finish decorating it. The part of the room I haven’t even begun to tackle is the space above the bed. In my old apartment in San Francisco, I hung those wooden arrows above the bed. But since I can’t help but rearrange my decor and furniture every few months, I’m thinking of trying something new in this time around. There are so many pretty bohemian wall hangings I’ve been eyeing, but I’m also thinking about putting up a shelf with picture frames. Take a look at some of my favorite ideas below and let me know which one you think I should go for!

im digging the shelf with feathers hanging, I think it would be great with gold dipped feathers. A close second is the fixture with multiple white dream catchers.

There are sooo many ideas for above the bed, and I´also struggled a lot finding what really worked for me. In the end I went with a bed canopy I saw on pinterest used with two curtain rods and some curtains and it worked really well. I had the opposite problem to you though, with our bedroom being quite spacious and everything was square so I felt it needed some texture :). Good luck, let us know what you go with! :)

I love the dream catchers! They’re so minimal but they really give that cool mood or that cool aura. That’s what I really want in my bedroom. I think I’ll make my own. :D
