Summer Office Attire

With sweltering temps (and cravings to spend all day at the beach), getting dressed for in office attire during the summer months can be a pain. If only wearing a bikini at the office was appropriate. Sadly, it’s not, but there are other alternatives that will make you want to wake up in the morning and get ready for a day of work. Putting together your outfit everyday should be fun, even if it’s for a serious environment like the office. So here’s my advice:

First, take advantage of white denim in the summertime. White pants are sleek, come in lightweight fabrics, and work for most office environments. Plus they go with almost anything. Flowy, breezy tops are another must-have for my work wardrobe, especially sleeveless tops. Choose summer prints and palettes to keep the look light and colorful. Complete your summer work attire with a structured necklace and heels that you can actually wear all day. See below for one of my favorite office looks.
